Ryan Carey is a founding member, and serves on the board, of the FIELDMOUSE PRESS comics nonprofit and its adjacent website, SOLRAD.CO, and maintains the long-running FOUR COLOR APOCALYPSE comics criticism blog in addition to being a regular contributor to THE COMICS JOURNAL, DAILY GRINDHOUSE, THROUGH THE SHATTERED LENS and GRAPHIC POLICY, among others. Blue Delliquanti is a comic artist and writer based in Minneapolis. They are the creator of the online comic O Human Star and the co-creator of the graphic novel Meal, with Soleil Ho. Blue’s next book, Across A Field Of Starlight, will be published by Random House in 2022.
Maddi Gonzalez is a xicana cartoonist from the Rio Grande Valley.
Noah Lawrence-Holder is an artist from Madison WI, now based in the Twin Cities. Their work consists of illustrations, animation, motion graphics and comics. They have featured work in gallery shows highlighting queer and black artists, shown animation in local film festivals and actively create motion graphics for public awareness campaigns.
Madeline McGrane lives in Minneapolis and draws comics. She received her BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in ’16. She has worked for Marvel Comics, Disney Publishing and CollegeHumor. Her short comic, Iceheist was published by uncivilized books in 2015. Madeline is currently working on The Accursed Vampire an original graphic novel to be published by HarperCollins in 2021.
Jenny Schmid grew up in the Pacific Northwest and currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she runs bikini press international and is Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Minnesota Department of Art. She is represented by The Davidson Galleries in Seattle and her prints have been purchased for collections including The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The Detroit Institute of Arts and the Library of Congress. She received a Fulbright Fellowship to Slovakia, the McKnight Fellowship, the Bush Artists Grant, a Jerome Film and Video grant and two Minnesota State Arts Board grants. Recent projects include live animation performances with Ali Momeni at theVertice Festival in Mexico City and for the Nobel Peace Prize Forum at Augsburg University as well as a residency at The Frans Masereel Center in Belgium. Her comic White Supremacists are Human Farts was published by Uncivilized Books and her solo exhibition of prints Wildness Lost exhibited in 2018 at the Davidson Galleries as well as the National Gallery and Gradska Galerija in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She a 2019 recipient of the McKnight Printmaking Fellowship administered by Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis.
Chuck U is an artist and illustrator based in Minneapolis MN. He draws line intensive whimsical scenes. You may have seen his work on Indeed beer cans, murals around town or painting and displaying work at Lollapalooza, Eaux Claires Fest, or Bonnaroo.
