Autoptic COVID-19 Planning Update

We hope that you are all doing well during a very strange, challenging and unmooring time. We’re writing to you today with a few updates regarding the current state of planning for our 2020 exhibition, scheduled for August 15th, 2020. While we really would do anything we can to ensure that the exhibition continues, the physical, financial and mental well-being of our exhibitors and attendees is our highest priority. We also understand that the unknown long-term scope of the current global health crisis creates uncertainty for both short- and long-term planning, so we want to be communicative with all of you so that you can also plan accordingly.
With all of that in mind, here are what we feel are the relevant details for our planning moving forward, as of this writing on March 23rd, 2020:
- As of now, we still plan on holding our planned exhibition on August 15th.
- We will be monitoring and revisiting that decision each month, with posted updates on or around the first of each month in May, June, July, and August.
- Applications for Autoptic are still open and will remain open until April 15th, as originally planned.
- Juror review of the applications will begin on April 15th, with selections announcements on May 1st, as originally planned.
Of course, all of the above is subject to change. Should any of the dates or plans listed change at any time, we will communicate that through e-mail, our website and all of our social media channels.
